Cancellation Policy


We do not overbook our rooms or sites. Your reservation is guaranteed when we have confirmed your credit card . On reservations cancelled less than 3 full days prior to arrival date, you will be billed for any part of your stay within the 48 hours unless we rebook the room or site. A Friday morning cancellation for a weekend booking will result in Friday and Saturday booked to your card. This also applies to reservations made on the same date as arrival or reservations made with less than 48 hours to arrival time.

Property Rules

  • Pets are allowed, please inform the office at the time of confirming the booking. Pets must be caged if left alone, and always on a leash when outside.
  • Do not mix recyclables (paper, plastic, metal, bottles) with garbage. Blue seperation boxes are provided in the rooms, along with clear bags being offered in the office for those who forgot theirs.
  • Check Out time is 11:00am. For room and RV bookings, please leave the key inside the room before departure.
  • Barbeqcues are provided with all rooms and RVs, please keep them clean for the next person.
  • The Noise Bylaw provides standards for noise and applies to all properties in Minden Hills. The Bylaw prohibits noise at any time that is likely to disturb others and is mandatory between 11PM and 7AM. The largest complaint is generally about loud music or barking dogs.

Common Office Offerings

>The following below are only avalilble for purchase between the times of 8:00am to 10:00pm.
  • Coffee is available free of charge in the mornings.
  • Wood is sold at the office.
  • Ice is sold at the office.
  • Pop and water are sold at the office.
  • Trail maps, along with passes are sold at the office.

Safety Tolerances and Standards

  • No smoking is allowed in the rooms.
  • No unruly behavior will be tolerated.
  • No illegal use of drugs will be permitted.
  • No firearms, crossbows, weapons of any-sort will be tolerated on the property.
  • No fireworks or firecrackers are allowed to be used on the property.
  • Helmets -where required, must be worn at all times.
  • Report all hazards to the office, which include (but are not limited to): blocked exits, fire, slippery floors, sharp objects, wild animals.

Camper Safety

  • Always utilize trash and recycling bags, ensuring they are tied up and hung above ground.
  • Always pick up after your pet.

Emergency Response

  1. In the event of an emergency (wildfire, flooding, etc), notify the leader of your group along with the owner of Ray's Place immediately. Call 911 as neccessary depending on situation.
  2. Ensure that you are not blocking any critical roadways or locations specified by the owner. This is allow emergency vehicles access if needed.
  3. In the case of power failure, flooding, or gaseous odour, notify the owner immediately. If unavailble, notify any staff possible with details including location.

Trail Rules

  • Ray's Place welcomes all four-wheel off-roading vehicles to the property, the only requirement being valid insurance.
  • For those not staying in any of the accommodations, you are still welcome to utilize the trails for a $20/day fee per vehicle.
  • Alcohol will not be permitted on the trails. Period.
  • Trails are allowed to be used from 8:00AM to 9:00PM.

  • It is not safe to use the mudbog after dark, this is for your own safety and those around you.
  • Vehicles can be parked in-front of your room or campsite where applicable, but we recommend you not riding your off-road vehicle anymore than neccessary when not on the trails. This is courtesy for those around you.
  • Public washrooms and showers are avalible 24/7 for all to utilize, furthermore a power wash station is located beside the pond on re-entry from the main trail. Please provide oil or gas to the machine if required.

Riding Recommendations

  • Ride responsibily, do not speed or race in the area.
  • Always ride in groups, never alone.
  • Ensure you always have a flashlight, map, and cellphone in case of emergency.
  • Stay on marked trails, these have been created specifically for your enjoyment. Failure to do so would put your safety at risk.
  • A reminder, drinking and driving will result in severe consequences.
  • Please straddle the ruts where possible to help keep the trails accessible for all vehicle types.

Cottage - $169 / Night

Minimum 2 nights required for booking.  

The 2 bedroom cottage on site is unique- it’s completely round! It offers 2 double beds and 2 twin beds, double pull out couch, kitchen, bathroom and living room. The spacious kitchen is equipped with dishes, pots and pans, full size fridge, stove and microwave. A barbeque is also found in front of this incredible room.

RV - $101 / Night

Our luxury RV rentals offer the unique experience of camping with all the amenities of the motel rooms! We have 3 different large park models with double or queen bed in 1 room, 2 twin beds in another, with kitchen and living room in between. Our Rvs have large tip-out areas, making them very spacious.

All RVs have air conditioning and furnaces, and feature large fridges, 4 burner stoves, microwaves, showers and bathtubs as well as satellite TV and gas BBQ. All bedding and towels are supplied.

We have a good variety of clean, comfortable accommodations. All of our rooms, cottages and RVs have air conditioning, satellite TV, large 4 piece bathrooms, microwave and fridge.

Our efficiencies are large- 20' x24' ! They offer 2 queen beds, kitchen with fridge, stove or hotplate and sink, microwave, dishes and pots and pans.

We have full service RV sites, electric/water sites, and unserviced tent sites for the camper in us all. Our spacious pull thru sites offer 15 or 30 amp service plug-ins.

You can tent alongside the pond in a quiet, charming setting, and access ATV trails from the campground. Flush toilets and free hot showers are available as well as laundry facilities. Firewood and ice are sold at the office.
